This picture of the congregation of the Nashville church in November 1943 was supplied by Mary Price Crouch. I am attaching her list of the persons depicted along with her notes regarding the family relationships. After the list of people I am attaching enlargements of the photograph by splitting it in half. The original picture is 8" by 22.5" and in excellent shape.

Reverend Steven's wife is not in photograph and her name is unknown. All Smiths are descendants of Glen Smith I and Belle Shapley. No one knew or can remember "Big" Johnston’s real first name.

(The internet is far reaching. I have received an email from Juanita Bergman Johnston - married to a nephew of "Big Johnston.

Uncle "Big's" name was Judson Joseph. They called him Big because he was less than a year old when they had another baby, so he was the Big 
Baby! And the name stuck.)
